Masculine Journal for my Son

A Journal/Organizer I had made for my son using mostly the Tattered Time paper and Tim Holtz paper. The inside is filled with pockets, large tags and little books. I added some paper clips tied with twine to hold important papers. I added the nuts and bolts charms from the industrial chic collection, I really love their charms. I wanted to add more but he wanted this simple. I've since added a bit more on the cover and made a jute closure which I'll post more pics of. I really wanted to go crazy with the industrial chic charms because they are just so unique...love them.

Fairy Tags

Some Fairy Tags I had made for my partner in a Tag swap.

Bookmarks

Just some bookmarks I had made for a swap.

Image Quote Journal

I printed out vintage images I've been saving for awhile on parchment cardstock. I've distressed every page with the distress it all, added pockets, tags, flips, etc. I'm going to just use this book to keep quotes that I love. It's still a work in progress and probably will be for awhile. I am making some changes to it as far as the fibers. Will post more pics when I update it.

Journal/Scrapbook

A journal where I can save and clip in articles/info that I want to keep.

Bona's (LiveLoveScrap) Keep on Scrapping FB Challenge

A challenge where you make a journal and then make pages using just your scraps.

Shabby Chic Journal

This was actually supposed to be a very plain and simple journal until I started slapping tags and whatever I could find on here.

Tag in a Bag

Just a simple tag with a bag using the Pixie Glen collection.

Tina's finished 'All About Me' Journal/Scrapbook

A covered composition book. Cover., back cover and inside covers covered in similar images. It holds many pockets throughout, large ribboned black paper clips to clip papers in, altered envelopes, bags and 10 imaged tags. Edges of pages are distressed with the distrezz it all. Some charms dangle from the sides. The cover was decorated with some bling, stickles throughout the scarf, crown charm and tons of ribbons and fibers to hold the binding tight so this book can hold pounds of paper.

Layered look on Journal

I cut strips of paper and ran them back and forth in the distress it all ( What a great tool). I think the effect is pretty cool. I just need to distress the pages. Love the worn look.

Vintage Women Tag swap project.

Vintage woman tag and decorated paperbag to hold it. I used an image on tag, stickled it, distressed it and added embel, lace, stained doily's, pearls, etc. I dry brushed the bag with white acrylic paint for a distressed look and again inked the doily with walnut distress ink and added flowers, lace, ribbon and pearls. The bag of the tag has frayed burlap and a small paperbag pocket with a distressed card in it. I like the way this came out. This is for a swap I'm in and I hope she likes it. I added 2 additional tags for her that are just distressed, stickled and stamped.

Shabby Chic Journal/Scrapbook

Shabby Chic Journal/Scrapbook. 2 Tags in front pocket and tiny envelope. The top flowers look peach in the pic but they're actually mauve and pale pink to match the other flowers on the image (strange how pics can distort colors). Flowers are spritzed with sparkle mist. Sparkle spritzing on book as well . No paper collection here just an image I loved from my Shabby chic saved pics. The back and inside covers are of the same image. I distressed the pages because I love the old book look but more distressing needs to be done. I think I may use this as a shabby chic decorating idea scrapbook.
